| "Dreaming the Appalachian Trail" is the fictional tale of one person's hike from Georgia to Maine. it's told in vignettes, by the lead character, Ivy Burbank Mann. After leaving Maine for Georgia to find the season of spring, an unknown season to this Maine native, he hikes north on the trail to get back home. Along the way he encounters violent storms, strange people, spectacular scenery and events that change his life. The trail itself becomes one of the characters in this story of imagination and wonder. |
